Join our Raymond Team as an Mechanical Assembler !

The Role :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler who brings energy, precision, and a strong sense of teamwork to the table. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach to assembling and / or disassembling forklift components, contributing directly to the production process that drives our business forward. You will work closely with a skilled and supportive team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. We value innovative thinking-yes, even the small ideas can spark big change! What You'll Be Doing :

  • Assemble sub-components by following diagrams, instructions, and standard work processes.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
  • Inspect your own work to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with your team to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, including our 5S program and Toyota Production System activities.

What We're Looking For :

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift / move parts up to 50 pounds (heavier materials are handled with cranes / hoists).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Experience with electronic hand tools.

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Previous hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience.

    • Where and When You'll Work :

  • This is an in-person role located at our East Syracuse-Raybuilt Facility-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • First shift, Monday through Friday, 6 : 00AM - 2 : 30PM.

    • What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like :

    Wage - $19.26 - $22.33 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience. Depending on your work history, initial employment may be facilitated through a staffing agency with the potential to transition into direct employment.
