Business Process / Project Analyst Medical Device (Onsite Carlsbad, CA) Contract

Job Title

This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, R&D, Finance, and functional leaders to build budgets and resource plans to support studies throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities include :

• Partner with Project Management and R&D support functions to build an optimal portfolio in support of financial constraints and future pipeline
• Facilitate the transition to new financial and portfolio management IS solutions
• Work collaboratively with Finance to drive the Annual Plan and Quarterly Financial Forecasts to support business requirements and timeline
• Support the 5-Year Strategic Plan to determine best study portfolio within financial targets
• Support with management of portfolio financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actual tracking
• Participate in budgets development and evaluating how portfolio and projects plan changes impact cost and schedule
• Provide reporting to key stakeholder areas as requested. Communicate and influence resolution of cross functional budgets or capacity issues
• Facilitate the use of data and analytics to build consensus and support strategic decisions around the Portfolio
• Provide headcount reporting and analysis. Establish effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize Portfolio efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation
• Develop processes, metrics, and best practices for improved portfolio management and planning
• Develop models and contribute to presentations for senior management
• Create guidelines for best practice for Project Managers / Functional Managers benefits, as needed
• Supports other business initiatives as needed
