Job Title
This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, R&D, Finance, and functional leaders to build budgets and resource plans to support studies throughout the project life cycle.
Responsibilities include :
- Partner with Project Management and R&D support functions to build an optimal portfolio in support of financial constraints and future pipeline
- Facilitate the transition to new financial and portfolio management IS solutions
- Work collaboratively with Finance to drive the Annual Plan and Quarterly Financial Forecasts to support business requirements and timeline
- Support the 5-Year Strategic Plan to determine best study portfolio within financial targets
- Support with management of portfolio financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actual tracking
- Participate in budgets development and evaluating how portfolio and projects plan changes impact cost and schedule
- Provide reporting to key stakeholder areas as requested. Communicate and influence resolution of cross functional budgets or capacity issues
- Facilitate the use of data and analytics to build consensus and support strategic decisions around the Portfolio
- Provide headcount reporting and analysis. Establish effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize Portfolio efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation
- Develop processes, metrics, and best practices for improved portfolio management and planning
- Develop models and contribute to presentations for senior management
- Create guidelines for best practice for Project Managers / Functional Managers benefits, as needed
- Supports other business initiatives as needed
Required qualifications :
Minimum Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Project and / or Site / Operations Management experience. MS degree with 3 or more years of experienceMinimum 2+ years' experience with operational / budgeting / metrics development, data analytics, and continued improvement of metrics for internal useDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across a matrixed organization and diverse geographic regionsSkilled in identifying complex business challenges and developing comprehensive, long-term strategic solutions to address themPreferred qualifications :
