Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with over 3 years of experience in software development on Linux systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong experience in Linux, including server or desktop applications, or equivalent experience on other POSIX-like systems. This role requires proficiency in the person, particularly modern features, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code. Experience with UI frameworks such as Qt or GTK is essential, although strong experience with other UI toolkits or frameworks may also be considered. Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time constraints is a must, with consideration for candidates who possess experience in near-real-time systems or high-performance desktop applications. A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required, but related degrees or equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop software on Linux systems using modern the person features.
• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Design and implement user interfaces using UI frameworks like Qt or GTK.
• Work with embedded systems and manage real-time constraints.
• Utilize Green Hills Software tools, including INTEGRITY RTOS and MULTI IDE, or equivalent RTOS/embedded IDEs.
• Understand and implement communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and serial.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience on Linux systems.

• Related degrees such as Computer Engineering or Physics, or strong equivalent professional experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN.

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
