Basic SQL experience : create complex queries, backup / restore data, model and create / alter data for testing scenarios. Strong communication and collaboration skills : convey complex ideas verbally and in writing; work effectively with developers, DBAs, and business analysts. Strong commitment to quality : articulate impact of software quality issues to development teams and leadership. Development background with 4 years of programming or test automation experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS / MIS, or equivalent experience.

Join as an SDET-Software Developer in a 12+ month contract role in the Oil & Gas industry, located in Houston, TX (Onsite).
Base Pay Range
USD $60.00 / hr - $65.00 / hr
Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements for software applications to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Develop expert knowledge of business processes and supporting applications at Enterprise Products.
- Plan testing for new and existing applications, covering feature / functionality, deployment / configuration, performance, integration, and usability.
- Track coverage, progress, and results in the software application lifecycle management tool.
- Develop and support test harnesses for rapid, repeatable, and reportable test execution.
- Automate test scenarios to reduce time and cost of testing and improve coverage.
- Monitor application quality and release readiness, working with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
- File and track software defects in the lifecycle management tool.
- Define and track development and quality standards.
- Monitor post-release quality issues, triage them, and work with development teams to expedite fixes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
