Position Summary : Full Time
Shift : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm (Monday – Friday)
Compensation : $14.50-$16.50 per hour - Based on experience
The Life Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating person-centered life enrichment programs specifically designed for residents living in the memory support unit of our long term care community.
This role focuses on promoting quality of life through engagement that supports emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, and intellectual wellness.
The LEC works closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure programming and activity interventions are aligned with each resident’s cognitive and functional abilities, interests, and care needs.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications : Certification as an Activity Professional or Recreational Therapist preferred; dementia-specific training or certification a plus.
Minimum Experience : Experience with older adults and / or people with dementia preferred.
Experience in life enrichment, therapeutic recreation, education, or a related field, with a strong preference for prior work in memory care.
Strong time management, organizational, collaborative, creative, and communication skills.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and positive approach.
Ability to document in an electronic health record system.
