PRIVATE CLUB - FOH SERVICE TEAM MEMBER (SERVER / BARTENDER)

PAY RATE : $8.00 / hr + Tip Pool Share

The Perlant Server plays an integral role in our service team and will be key to setting the tone for the space and our members’ experience. With a deep-rooted understanding of hospitality, an enthusiasm for food and wine, and a keen ability to multi-manage, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and execute the highest level of service in our space.
POSITION SUMMARY :
A FOH service team member is a key ambassador of the guest experience at The Perlant. This individual is responsible for delivering attentive, refined, and personalized service to members and their guests in an elevated dining environment. With a strong understanding of food, wine, and hospitality etiquette, our FOH team ensures every interaction upholds the standards and values of a premier private club.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Guest Service :
- Greet members and guests by name, creating a warm and personalized welcome.
- Deliver attentive, discreet, and highly responsive service throughout the dining experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences; accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain a polished, poised demeanor while communicating clearly and courteously with guests.
Dining Service :
Present menus and daily specials with confidence and clarity.Offer thoughtful recommendations on food, wine, and cocktail pairings.Execute proper service techniques for food and beverage delivery in alignment with fine dining standards.Maintain awareness of table pacing and ensure each course is timed seamlessly.Food and Beverage Knowledge :
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and culinary details.Stay informed on seasonal offerings, beverage program updates, and wine cellar selections.
Confidently describe the origins, profiles, and pairings of featured food and beverage items.Presentation and Cleanliness :
Set and maintain dining tables according to club service standards, ensuring precise placement of tableware, linens, and glassware.Uphold cleanliness and overall appearance of the dining room before, during, and after service.
Maintain professional grooming, uniform, and appearance at all times.Team Collaboration :
Coordinate closely with the culinary team, sommeliers, and fellow servers to ensure smooth, unified service.Assist in mentoring and training new servers or support staff to maintain service consistency.Support special events and private functions in collaboration with the events and banquet teams.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES ENCOURAGED :
Experience : Minimum of 3 years in a fine dining, luxury hospitality, or private club setting is strongly preferred.Communication : Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Product Knowledge : Working knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings; formal training or certifications are a plus.Professionalism : Commitment to excellence in service, etiquette, and guest engagement.Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a high-end, member-driven environment.

Ability to lift wine cases and bottles up to 40 lbs.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to work in a fast-paced, medium environment.Full-time position (evenings, weekends and holidays as required).
