[job_card.job_description]Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills; experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred. Attentive to detail, cooperative, dependable, and receptive to new ideas. Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and health plans preferred. Strong customer service focus. Effective verbal and written communication; able to manage competing priorities. Resourcefulness in problem solving and good judgment. Flexible, organized; able to follow through on delegated tasks. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Possess transportation to travel independently between work-related locations. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Pay
Base pay range : $21.00 / hr $21.50 / hr
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated work experience in a medical setting, preferably a community clinic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English / Spanish communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to count money and make change accurately.
- Working knowledge of personal computers.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and organize workload to meet productivity goals.
- Verify insurance coverage using manual or electronic systems.
- Work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Work with volunteers.
- Reliable and punctual.
