seeking a psychologist for a faculty opportunity with our dedicated team of health care professionals at Family Medicine Residency in Missouri.

The Faculty Psychologist collaborates with family medicine faculty to develop and teach evidence-based curricula for human behavior, physician wellness, and other topics as assigned. Serves as a behavioral health consultant and provides brief interventions for adult, child, and geriatric patients on medicine inpatient and outpatient services. Provides formal (support groups) and informal support for achieving and maintaining physician wellness among resident and faculty physicians. Is responsible for certain aspects of program and resident evaluations.

Job Requirements:

• Three to five years related experience – experience can include practicum, internship, post-doctoral, or independent practice
• Preferred: adult, geriatric, and pediatric experience
• Able to conduct assessment and treatment of patients in area(s) of assigned operations.
• Able to integrate work activities into a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Carry out essential functions of the job with potential expansion of responsibility.
• Familiar with age-specific needs of patient populations served.
• Clinical capability to provide a full range of behavioral health services to medical and psychiatric patient populations.
