The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio-Visual Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in basic to intermediate level programming, advanced level commissioning, and troubleshooting of AV systems. This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of audio-visual technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Installation and Configuration : Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systems.
• Commissioning : Perform advanced level commissioning of AV systems to ensure optimal performance and integration with other systems.
• Programming : Develop and troubleshoot control system programs and scripts at a basic to intermediate level.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV systems, including hardware and software problems.
• Customer Support : Provide on-site support and training to clients, ensuring they can effectively use and maintain their AV systems, as needed.
• Documentation : Create and update technical documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and service reports.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality AV solutions.
• Compliance : Ensure all installations and configurations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
