Associate Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Under supervision the Central Tech I processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation. The Tech I issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures and maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status. The Tech I is responsible for receiving and responding to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications :

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• Experience in general office practices and procedures.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
