Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized educational support as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) within a K-12 school setting. This contract position, located in Dallas, TX, is designed to support students with visual impairments throughout the school year, delivering tailored instruction to enhance their learning experiences and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of students with visual impairments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective educational plans.
• Provide training and resources related to assistive technology and adaptive learning strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure academic and social development.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate visual functioning and learning needs.
