Visiting Angels is a national leader in non-medical private duty senior home care . Our award-winning, locally owned agency in Centerville, OH has an immediate opening for a Care Coordinator / Intake Coordinator. People management and leadership skills required. This is a management position.
We are seeking an individual who truly cares and wants clients to be looked after in the same way as their own parents. A Visiting Angels Care Manager is a team player and responsible for managing and coordinating the care of each client and caregiver. The Care Manager also would oversee the scheduling of caregivers and client cases. This position also has a SALES aspect with signing up new clients. Caregiving experience (personal or professional) is desired.
Some of the Responsibilities of the Care Manager include :
Working in collaboration with office and field teams to maintain excellent client and caregiver relations with a focus on care coordination, scheduling, and growth.
Scheduling of clients and caregivers through collaboration with appropriate office staff.
Ability to communicate consistently and effectively with other staff to ensure new clients are onboarded quickly.
Focus on a positive outcome for the clients and families, and caregivers.
Collaborating with the office TEAM to ensure proper skills matching and scheduling of caregivers and clients.
Assist with answering phones and inquiries from client and caregivers and directing to the appropriate staff.
Ensure client and caregiver schedules of availability and time off requests are up to date.
Independently respond to and resolve any client inquiries.
Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications include :
Leadership and organizational skills required.
Sales or caregiving background required
Commitment to superior customer service through discipline, excellent organizational skills, communication abilities and team work. Most importantly, the successful candidate must truly enjoy being on a team and be driven by a desire to always do the right thing.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in scheduling software, documentation, Microsoft Office applications.
Commitment to evening / weekend availability and after-hours on-call schedule on a rotating basis
