Job Title : Project Engineer / Maintenance Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support a variety of ongoing and future projects within our client's industrial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial equipment settings, preventative maintenance, and multi-project coordination in a manufacturing environment. Projects may range from maintenance planning and backlog reduction to system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute multiple concurrent engineering and maintenance projects within the plant.
- Support the implementation of systems and processes such as a spare parts inventory system, including cataloging, database setup, and integration with CMMS tools.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and work order backlogs.
- Utilize CMMS platforms (., SAP, E-Main) to maintain accurate equipment and parts data.
- Ensure part number accuracy and integrity, recognizing and resolving discrepancies to prevent costly errors.
- Assist in identifying and planning unplanned maintenance tasks, leveraging technical and mechanical knowledge.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in maintenance planning, inventory control, and equipment reliability.
Essential Skills
Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Planning roles.Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, especially SAP or E-Main.Familiarity with industrial equipment and maintenance environments.Detail-oriented with the ability to distinguish between similar part numbers and prevent errors.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic plant setting.Technical background preferred (mechanical or industrial engineering).Strong communication and organizational skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience implementing a spare parts inventory system.Hands-on experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.Understanding of maintenance policy and equipment lifecycle management.Work Environment
This position operates within a shop / manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
