Job Title : Fidessa Consultant

Location : Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)

Duration : 1 Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Must Have :

Application / Production support in trade environment (front or middle office)

FIX Protocol, OMS exp

Unix, SQL

Cash Equities knowledge / exp

Overview :

Experienced trading technology professional with a strong background supporting and delivering electronic trading platforms in large buy-side or sell-side environments.

Proven ability to bridge business, trading, and technology teams to deliver stable, scalable, and compliant trading solutions.

Core Expertise :

Deep understanding of electronic trading workflows, including high-touch, low-touch, and algorithmic execution.

Strong knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycle, from order creation through execution, allocation, booking, and reporting.

Experience working with EMS / OMS platforms, including vendor and proprietary systems.

Solid grasp of market structure, order types, routing strategies, and execution controls across global markets.

Hands-on experience with trading system integrations, messaging protocols, and platform configuration.

Understanding of scalable trading architectures, data flows, and system resiliency.

Awareness of regulatory, risk, and control requirements impacting electronic trading.,

Technical & Analytical Skills :

Proficient in trade data analysis and issue investigation.

Comfortable working with APIs, messaging frameworks, and modern infrastructure environments.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
