Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in the Plymouth Meeting area with pay starting at 120K. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of new buildings, bridges, and other structures. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting site investigations and analyzing data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.)
• Assessing the strength of existing structures and recommending improvements
• Designing structures to withstand pressures and stresses
• Using computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes
• Liaising with other professionals and clients
• Writing reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Proven work experience as a Structural Engineer
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management abilities
• Proficiency in structural design software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
