Allied Universal is looking to hire a FED - Contract Manager. The Contract Manager collaborates with the GOV Operations Regional Director to oversee employees and operational activities at specific FPS contracts associated with their assigned account. Salary : $144,840.02 / year

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. • Ensures staffing, training, certification and performance levels are maintained according to DHS / FPS National Standards of Work (NSOW) as well as all state / local and regional regulations and company policies.
• Oversees work schedules and assignments, Safety Program, equipment inventory, weekly payroll, monthly training requests and exhibits. Produces monthly reports for both company and Federal Protective Service (FPS), a Division of Homeland Security.
• Assists contract trainers with Firearms Instruction, Safety and Qualification, Records Management, SMARTbook / NPSOLP (National Protective Security Officer Lesson Plan) Basic and Refresher course, Personally Identifiable Information and Active Threat Awareness training.
• Evaluates candidates and performs hiring of all contract personnel, to include gathering all pertinent paperwork to begin adjudication process for OPM (Office of Personnel Management) background investigations.
• Provides liaison services between FPS Region Commanding Officer (CO), Protective Security Officer Program Manager (PSOPM) and Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) and company management. Works with FPS to foster relationships with the client organizations and Department of Homeland Security.
• Maintains excellent customer relations with clients, visitors, employees and union officials.
• Participates in unemployment or other contract-necessary hearings.
• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required.
