Job Description

Must Have Technical / Functional Skills

  • Expertise in designing effective and user-friendly dashboards for data analysis and presentation.
  • Proficiency in ad hoc analysis using Excel and querying Azure SQL databases.
  • Strong command of DAX and Power BI semantic modeling.
  • Deep Experience with dataflows and Microsoft Fabric environments.
  • Familiarity with Databricks - Databricks One, Lakehouse, AI / BI Genie and Dashboards is a plus.
  • bility to understand and translate business requirements into comprehensive analytics solutions, including identifying potential conflicts or gaps.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
  • Expert in the Microsoft data stack and advanced SQL skills for working with large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (required); experience with Tableau desired.
  • 5 years of experience in business intelligence.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with relational databases and dimensional modeling.
  • 3 years of experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Data Warehouse).

    • Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable data models and visualizations.
  • pply advanced data visualization techniques and semantic modeling to support enterprise analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define reporting strategies and prioritize analytics needs.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers, providing training, code reviews, and best practice recommendations.
  • Champion user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles to ensure intuitive and impactful visualizations.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to identify, access, and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Support product owner activities as needed, including backlog refinement, user story development, and aligning deliverables with business goals.
