Technician Veterinary Assistants Wanted At VCA West Linn Animal Hospital

VCA West Linn Animal Hospital is looking for experienced Technician Veterinary Assistants to join our 2-doctor General Practice!

We are looking for experienced (2-year minimum) Technician Assistants or certified Veterinary Assistants to provide excellent patient care with a focus on urgent care and client education. Technician Assistants are responsible for preparing exam rooms for the doctors and assisting in providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area.

Requirements : Minimum 2 years experience in general practice or veterinary setting.

Schedule : Full-time opportunity. Four- 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Flexible scheduling.

Compensation : $22 $24 / hr. Pay dependent on experience.

Location : 19343 Willamette Dr, West Linn, OR 97068

Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parentby delivering an outstanding client experienceso we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to :

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
