Job Description

As a C++ Linux Scripting Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining medical device software applications that run on Linux systems. Your role will involve designing, coding, testing, and debugging C++ applications, creating and maintaining various scripts to automate processes and tasks. You will work closely with the development team to implement new features and enhancements while ensuring the code is efficient, reliable, and scalable. This role requires strong knowledge of Object‑Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and coding principles.

Your role

• Own, create and deliver platform components, application development and analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to software team members during the development process.
• Conduct technical design reviews of software to ensure the reliability and performance.
• Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms.
• Ensure SDLC process compliance during requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and verification.
• Work effectively in an Agile scrum team and continuously improve the team’s performance.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
• Ensure compliance / closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs / Program Deliverables.
• Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure overall software quality through unit testing and verification of the system.

Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of hisorher software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Is fully competent in its own area and has a deep understanding of related programming concepts software design and software development principles. Works autonomously with minimal supervision. Able to act as a key contributor in a complex environment, lead the activities of a team for software design and software development. Acts proactively to understand internal or external client needs and offers advice even when not asked. Able to assess and adapt to project issues, formulate innovative solutions, work under pressure and drive team to succeed against its technical and commercial goals. Aware of profitability needs and may manage costs for specific projector work area. Explains difficult concepts to a variety of audiences to ensure meaning is understood. Motivates other team members and creates informal networks with key contacts outside own area.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is : $76,000 - $110,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
