Application Support Technician

Job Summary

Required Skills :

• 3+ years of technical support experience with :
• Linux environment : linux command line, linux file structure, running scripts, change directory, run scripts, manipulate / traverse to a different folder, execute script file.
• Windows environment : running batch files, checking log files (application logs or security logs), checking event log, knowing the service status, how to restart it, task scheduler.
• Scripting : python, bash or shell
• 3+ years of technical support experience with 1 or more the following skills :
• MS SQL experience : accessing database through SQL, retrieving data, knowing how to connect database from SQL.
• Basic Networking : ability to read network diagram, ping, network connectivity, layer 2 to layer 7, differences between UDP, TCP, web protocols, firewalls.

Must have customer service experience and strong communication
