Job Description :

InGenesis is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Hyperbaric Medicine with clinical experience to provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced outpatient Sports Medicine and Hyperbaric clinic supporting our client at Travis AFB. This role combines direct patient care, procedural assistance, and hyperbaric chamber operations, including preparation and monitoring of patients, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining clinical equipment and records. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care, clinical procedures, and emergency response, with the ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide patient care and assist with medical procedures, including minor wound care, medication administration, venipuncture, PRP injections, and other outpatient treatments.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies; maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in electronic and hard-copy formats.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, including use of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound machines, PRP systems, and gait analysis tools.
• Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient education, provide follow-up instructions, and triage patient concerns via phone.
• Support hyperbaric medicine operations : act as chamber operator, crew chief, and inside attendant, monitor patient safety, operate equipment, and perform emergency procedures.
• Maintain compliance with safety, aseptic, and infection control standards, including proper handling of medications, specimens, and hazardous materials.
• Assist with administrative duties, scheduling, and patient coordination.
• Participate in ongoing training, including UHMS and CHT certification requirements, and complete continuing education as required.
