Job Summary :

Seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Qualifications :

  • Should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the Diesel mechanical field.
  • Must have extensive knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic & Diesel systems & components.
  • Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
  • Inspect & maintain hostler fleet, engines, transmissions, etc..
  • Must possess own tools (tool allowance provided, see below)

Requirements :

  • Schedule is daylight hours (mornings or afternoons). Holidays pay double-time.
  • Occasional mandatory OT up to 4 hours (at 1.5 x rate).
  • Must possess a valid drivers license (no CDL required).
  • Must pass background check no felonies.
  • Must pass a drug test & physical.

    • Pay & Benefits :

  • Earning potential $70,000 to $90,000.
  • Union job : Teamsters Local 710.
  • Weekly Pay every Friday

  • Paid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Days.
  • Tool allowance of $800 / year
  • Boot allowance of $150 / year.
