Electrical Planner (SAP) – Golden Pass LNG Terminal | Sabine Pass, TX (Port Arthur area)

Worksite : Golden Pass LNG Terminal, Sabine Pass, TX

About the Role

Precise Engineering is hiring an Electrical Planner to support maintenance & reliability at an LNG facility. You’ll build job plans in SAP S / 4HANA , develop look-ahead schedules, create job packs, and coordinate with Operations / Maintenance to execute safe, efficient electrical work.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and prioritize electrical maintenance & reliability scope for the asset.
  • Build and maintain weekly / monthly / quarterly / 4-year look-ahead schedules.
  • Create job packs with drawings, permits, labor / equipment estimates, and materials.
  • Generate / coordinate work orders and backlogs in SAP; ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Use planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project / Prometheus) to sequence work.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain on materials and access.
  • Track KPI’s (schedule compliance, backlog health, regulatory checks) and produce reports with charts / graphs.
  • Support field execution, resolve constraints, and recommend procedure / training updates.
  • Assist with budgeting inputs for electrical maintenance programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years planning / scheduling experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or LNG facilities.
  • Strong hands-on field exposure to electrical maintenance & safe work practices.
  • Proficient with SAP S / 4HANA (CMMS work orders, BOMs, notifications, backlog).
  • Working knowledge of Planning → Scheduling → Execution best practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills; detail-oriented and self-directed.

    • Preferred / Bonus

  • Primavera P6 and / or MS Project experience; Prometheus toolset familiarity.
  • Exposure to scaffolding / rigging / insulation / painting / welding / fabrication estimation (for multi-craft coordination).
  • Experience in PHMSA-regulated pipeline environments and with gas compression / metering equipment.

    • Certifications & Requirements

  • TWIC required (current strongly preferred; will consider renewals / new applicants).
  • Valid state driver’s license in good standing.

    • Work Schedule & Conditions

  • Onsite, Monday–Friday (with occasional off-hours during outages / critical work).
  • LNG terminal environment; adherence to all safety and permit-to-work procedures.
