As a HOST at VERDE NYC, you play a key role in delivering an outstanding first impression that reflects our brand’s creativity, quality, and energy. You will ensure guests feel welcomed, attended to, and leave with a memorable impression of our hospitality. You’ll join a dynamic team where your personality, service skills, and passion for hospitality shine.

Responsibilities :

Greet guests warmly, courteously, and professionally

Manage reservations, seating, and waiting lists efficiently

Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area

Coordinate with the service team to ensure a seamless guest experience

Assist in training and supporting new host staff

Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards

Requirements :

Proven experience in hospitality, front-of-house, or customer service roles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to guests

Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellence

Knowledge of hospitality standards is a plus

Compensation :

$18–$20 / hour + tips
