Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor

Pay : $30-45 / HR based on experience

Location : Bayonne, NJ

Shift : Monday - Friday 2 : 30 pm - 11 : 30 pm

Job Description

Supervise and direct maintenance personnel, including workload assignments and providing feedback on work. Assist in the maintenance activities of the facility and its grounds. Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Maintain and perform a preventive maintenance program.
• Direct training and instruction of workers to improve work performance and familiarize workers with company policies and procedures.
• Direct maintenance personnel in execution of maintenance procedures.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Provide support for Capital Improvement projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment / building drawings.

Work Environment

Second shift, Monday - Friday 2 : 30 - 11 : 30, with weekends as needed depending on production needs. May need to report 30 minutes before or after shift, depending on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayonne, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
