JOB SUMMARY :

At Physicians Care, you will provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages, treating a diverse range of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, educate, and ensure the highest standards of care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This position covers a variety of duties that reflect the expectations, but is not limited to :

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Offer friendly, accessible patient care to all seeking health-related assistance.
• Lead and assist during emergencies, maintaining a reassuring presence for patients.
• Adapt to varying fast-paced work conditions, managing long hours and frequent interactions.
• Conduct medical assessments, treatment, management, and follow-ups for clinic patients, including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation.
• Perform medical procedures, such as laceration repairs, pap tests, injections, and more.
• Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for clinic patients.
• Oversee and support on-site laboratory and x-ray services.
• Maintain clinical competencies and engage with leadership to align with medical policies.
• Contribute to developing, revising, and implementing policies affecting medical practice and patient care quality.
• Participate in in-service and continuing education for medical staff.
• Recommend growth opportunities for existing and new services within the center.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting bodies.
• Represent the company at internal and external meetings as needed.
• Guide and mentor other medical staff to maintain high-quality services and patient satisfaction.

Our full-time team members work a rotating 30-40 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
