This Client is an American multinational semiconductor company based in Santa Clara California that develops computer processors and related technologies for business and consumer markets. global company that specializes in manufacturing semiconductor devices used in computer processing. The company also produces flash memories graphics processors motherboard chip sets and a variety of components used in consumer electronics goods.

Job Title : Operator

Work Location : Austin TX 78728

Duration : 12 Months

Work Type : Temporary Assignment

Job Type : Onsite

Shift : Night Shift 6PM to 6AM (Sun Mon Tue and every other Saturday )

Job Description :

  • Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization optimization and validation of pre-production CPU / GPU products.
  • The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume : Setup power and performance measurement platforms execute power and performance test plans support lab debug activities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :

  • Prefer Associates degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or Computer Science; 1-2 years of relevant work experience .Good understanding of PC system architecture operating systems drivers ACPI and BIOS; Performance / Power / Thermal related lab work experience is an asset; Strong analytical / problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail; Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good verbal and written communication team and basic math skills required along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
