As part of our growth, we are looking for a Cost Accountant in Lancaster, PA where you will be part of a dynamic Finance team fighting fraud and piracy!

The Cost Accountant sets up new part numbers, creates bills for materials, creates routings, and manages cost estimates for all products manufactured by the company. This role works closely with the production, sales, and engineering teams to ensure accurate cost data is available for decision making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sets up new part numbers in company system and ensures all relevant cost data is entered and maintained.
• Audits part numbers globally to ensure standards are being met.
• Creates and maintains bills of materials for all products, ensuring that all components and labor costs are accurately reflected.
• Creates routings for all products, including all operations and their associated costs.
• Prepares and maintains cost estimates for new products and product changes, working closely with the engineering and sales teams to ensure accurate data is used.
• Analyzes costs and identify areas for cost reduction, working closely with production teams to implement cost-saving measures.
• Provides cost data to support pricing decisions and make recommendations for cost reduction.
• Participates in the budget and forecasting process, providing cost data and analysis to support the financial plan.
• Ensures compliance with all accounting and financial reporting requirements.
