Salary Range : $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Interpret complex GD&T specifications and translate them into CMM measurement routines.
• Set up and operate CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts.
• Analyze measurement data, identify non-conformances, and generate comprehensive inspection reports.
• Troubleshoot CMM program errors and measurement discrepancies, implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve measurement challenges and improve product quality.
• Maintain CMM equipment and ensure calibration schedules are met for accuracy and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).

Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.

Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting CMM equipment.

Knowledge of metrology principles and measurement best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

GD&T Certification (e.g., ASME Y14.5)

Experience with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor)

Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners, optical comparators)
