Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location : Charleston, SC Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $1,827 per week Shift Information : Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Experience : Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP Must-Have : Experience in Level IV NICU is required. Level III NICU experience may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Travelers new to travel nursing are accepted. Weekends required : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required. Description : The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients. Care is delivered using the principles and practices of the nursing process. Safe and effective care is prioritized while interacting with other members of the health care team. The NICU cares for premature and sick neonates. Common diagnoses include prematurity and respiratory distress. The unit also provides medical and surgical care with specialized support, including ECMO and nutritional support. Surgical support is available as needed. Pediatric Palliative care is provided as appropriate. All beds in the NICU are monitored. The job involves working with neonates requiring various advanced interventions. Travelers must be flexible to meet the current needs of the unit. Any planned time off must be communicated at the time of submission. Compliance with unit policies and procedures is mandatory.
