What You'll Do :

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and relay critical information as needed within the location.
• Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing calls, incidents, and activities in dispatch logs.
• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as required.
• Assist with monitoring access points, controlling entry and exit of individuals, and verifying identification as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Support emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating resources according to established protocols.
• Remain alert to potential security-related issues and report any concerns to management or law enforcement as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements :

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
