Engineering Manager Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of products, manufacturing processes, and testing protocols.
• Manage engineering and technical staff by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deliverables align with company goals.
• Oversee project planning, logistics, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and waste reduction across designs and operations.
• Identify and secure resources needed for team success, including capital investment proposals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, and implement cost-control strategies.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and supplier site visits.
• Advocate for team needs by ensuring appropriate tools, staffing, and support are in place.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge within the industry and apply best practices.
• Ensure all engineering processes meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, sales, production, and service teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Engineering Manager Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support product installation and testing at customer locations.
• Assist with prototype builds and production support when needed.
• Participate in assembly, light fabrication, and material handling, including forklift and truck/trailer operations.

Engineering Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proven project management and personnel leadership skills.
• Expert knowledge of relevant technologies, manufacturing methods, and industry practices.
• Strong strategic thinking, critical problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Skilled in mentoring, team development, and fostering collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with excellent planning, organization, and documentation skills.
• Adaptable and resourceful, with a willingness to explore new approaches when challenges arise.
• Proficiency in CAD platforms and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using presentation tools to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and strong work ethic.

The pay range for this role is:
95,000 - 115,000 USD per year(Main Office)
