Title : Data Analytics Consultant - IS&T (Contract-to-Hire)
Location : Manhattan, NY (5th Avenue) Onsite 4 days / week (Fridays remote)
Engagement : 6-month contract (1099 / freelance), with potential for salaried full-time conversion (W2)
Industry : Luxury Retail / Global Consumer Goods
Start Date : ASAP
Work Authorization : Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship available now or in the future.
About the Role
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a global data and analytics team supporting major reporting and business intelligence initiatives for a top-tier international luxury brand. This role sits at the crossroads of business analysis, project coordination, and hands-on data operations ideal for candidates who enjoy translating business needs into actionable data solutions without being full-time developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate data requests and project timelines between business teams and global IS&T (including France and central support)
- Write user stories, track Jira tickets, and manage delivery across multiple stakeholders
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for a widely used commercial reporting tool (NEMO)
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues within the GCP BigQuery platform
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress reporting
- Participate in global meetings, project reviews, and process improvement discussions
