Our client provides an affordable, intuitive event management platform that helps local venues compete with large chains, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace of event services.
As the Founding Recruiter , youll own the full recruiting lifecycle and play a critical role in building the company's team and culture. Youll develop hiring strategies, source top talent, refine processes, and partner closely with leadership to scale the organization. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Source, engage, and hire top talent across multiple functions (fully outbound role).
- Design a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to offer.
- Build and amplify the employer brand through strategic channels.
- Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, job descriptions, and interview decisions.
- Improve hiring operations, tools, workflows, and analytics.
- Support early people operations, including onboarding, performance reviews, and culture initiatives.
Requirements
2-3+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in high-growth startup or agency environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.Passion for people, culture, and building from the ground up.Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced startup setting.Nice to have :
Hands-on experience with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem).Demonstrated success filling technical and non-technical roles.What They Offer
