JOB TITLE : Quality Engineer Repair Station
REPORTS TO : QA Manager
General : The Quality Engineer is responsible for numerous specialized tasks including procedural maintenance of ISO / AS9100 quality documentation and FAA 14 CFR Part145 quality system documentation. Candidate is expected to possess above average interpersonal skills and ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
General responsibilities will vary within an assigned business unit with primary product support activities for FAA regulatory and customer flow down initiatives, problem resolution and assistance to production personnel.
Specific Responsibilities
- Direct communication with regulatory and customer auditors and various regulatory agencies.
- QE will be focal point for scheduling any on-site quality audits.
- Responsible for maintaining a large amount of quality system data including operational performance data and quality management system documents and coordinating revisions as needed.
- Additional responsibilities include coordinating product or manufacture related issues regarding a product line item, AmSafe employee training, participation in continuous improvement events and other improvement programs.
