Warehouse Packer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Packer to join our team. In this role, you will apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements to ensure the highest quality standards in the assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility.
• Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
• Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks.
• Perform computer-related tasks to fulfill necessary duties, including signing into jobs, in-process actions, and data entry.
• Participate in the start-up and closure of packaging jobs.
• Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products.
• Perform counts of components and drug products.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly, GMP, labeling, cleanroom, and packaging processes.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and filling tasks.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands.
• Working mathematical skills for counting, adding, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
• Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team, taking initiative, and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Ability to accept and learn from feedback, especially related to Corrective or Preventative Actions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to meet physical requirements, including standing continuously, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending frequently, squatting, and reaching above shoulder-level.
• Ability to work in various environments, including Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2 to 8°ree; C), and freezer (-20°ree; C) environments.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute the content of English work documents, including SOPs, work instructions, knowledge assessments, cGMP, and safety procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.
