PHARMACIST PRN

Summary

PRN Production Pharmacist: $56-68/hour, weekends-only, day shift (8:30 AM - 5 PM). Saturday and/or Sunday, 1-2 weekends per month. Holidays as needed.

Nation's Infusion at Home is a licensed pharmacy that provides a comprehensive range of infusion therapies. Our skilled clinical teams provide the support every patient needs to successfully complete their therapy while our healthcare professionals act as an integral part of the patient's interdisciplinary care team, providing status updates to physicians, case managers, and healthcare professionals. We strive for excellence in providing high quality home infusion therapy with compassion and individualized care so that patients can maintain an independent lifestyle in the privacy and comfort of their own home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and Compounding
• Therapeutic Evaluation and Monitoring
• Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Patient Education and Support

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of experience in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy, particularly in a home health setting
• Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
• Computer literate; ability to use Office 365 tools and the company's EMR
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and reliability
• Current Maryland pharmacist license in good standing

Work Environment:

• Standing for extended periods and working in a cleanroom or sterile environment
• Occasional lifting of materials and supplies may be required
• Potential exposure to hazardous drugs
• The pharmacy is located within a typical office with other departments and coworkers working together in shared spaces.
