Project Manager - Offshore Brownfield Engineering

Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Brownfield Engineering Project Manager for an offshore brownfield program of work, based out of Metairie, LA.

As we embark on a new offshore brownfield campaign based out of  Metairie, LA , we are seeking a talented and experienced  Brownfield Engineering Project Manager  to join our team.

Job Description :  The  Brownfield Engineering PM  will head our offshore brownfield campaign based in Metairie, LA.  The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.

In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage communication with the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent combination of qualifications and project management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years exposure to offshore engineering and construction with brownfield projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes, including regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from initiation to closeout.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, global execution centers and managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environmental conditions as required.
