Job Responsibilities

  • Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests
  • Provide operational support for replication technologies
  • Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed
  • Test new releases and patches provided by vendors
  • Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies
  • Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements
  • Provide on call support

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Required :
  • overall 7 years of IT experience
  • 3-5 years' experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate
  • Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies
  • Previous experience administering databases in an enterprise environment
  • Personal attributes : adaptable, change agent, collaborative, results driven, accountability oriented.
  • Understand the cross-functional interdependencies with and across IT communities. Adjust communication style based on target audience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quick moving environment
  • Ability to work off-hours
  • Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Skilled in building relationships with clients and in practice development activities.
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and / or large consulting projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Skilled to collaborate with Cross-functional, business units, application developers and integration teams.
