What You'll Do
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant and equipment HVAC systems : chillers, split units, package and appliance refrigeration systemsInspect and perform daily maintenance on all, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and chillersPerforms necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipmentWorks with related diagnostic equipment including digital multimeter, oscilloscope, and other electronic toolsMaintain thorough and working knowledge / understanding of brazing, soldering, mechanical, electrical systems / components and how they operateTroubleshoot and identify equipment issues and safely implement predictive, preventive, and corrective measures to ensure asset reliabilityWorks with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, multi- meter, refrigerant recovery units, and vacuum pumpsParticipates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety CultureDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root causeUse SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actionsDemonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and schematicsMonitor and inspect equipment for defects. Properly remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power toolsKnowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practicesAble to communicate effectively with appropriate departments / individuals. Thorough understanding of applicable devices in the facilityWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPEAssist ARP Planners with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activitiesExercise judgement when troubleshooting AC motor controls, electrical drives, and all high voltage systems, keeping them all up to the site voltage maximums. Able to understand electrical / electronical schematicsMaintains specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usageProvides technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as neededResponsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work areaWhat You'll Need
Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practicesExperience with refrigerant controls (metering devices) and motor controls (contractors, starters, relays, disconnects, thermostats, etc.)Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiencyExperience with electric motors, including three phase motorsKnowledge of trouble shooting electrical circuits and the ability to use multi-meters and other basic electrical test equipmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperaturesAbility to utilize precision measurement instrumentsInspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC Systems, PLC networks, and cranesInstalls HVAC and Electrical equipmentAbility to function in a fast-paced environmentAbility to think logically, analytically and solve problemsAC / DC troubleshooting experience requiredMust have experience with and the ability to demonstrate electrical and mechanical maintenance principles, concepts, and troubleshooting techniquesStrong multitasking abilitiesThorough understanding of electrical safe work practicesAbility to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shiftYour Education
