Senior Python Developer

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their team. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting the Fixed Income Trading Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a quick learning aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Developing Risk PL attribution systems for trading desks, combining mathematical and technology skills with a focus on risk calculation and batching distribution.
• Managing underlying trading risk workflows and the interaction of booking, risk, market data, and analytic systems.
• Understanding the flow of data from booking systems like RTW, VMASTER, and PIONEER to the Quartz database and remote risk.
• Creating Intraday / Real-Time Front Office Risk / PL applications for the Interest Rates derivatives desk in NY, emphasizing speed and efficiency.
• Providing comprehensive End Of Day Risk / PL reports to enterprise teams outside of FICC, including Finance, Market Risk, and Regulatory / Compliance.
