Staff Clinician Psychologist Coordinator of Case Management and Group Counseling

Description

Provides a broad range of direct psychological services to Holy Cross students including the following : diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual psychotherapy; group therapy; crisis intervention; consultation; and outreach programming and training. Coordinates case management and the group counseling services. The Staff Clinician / Psychologist is expected to provide evidence-based culturally responsive individual and group addition to having a general expert knowledge of mental health and psychological functioning the ideal candidate for the Staff Clinician / Psychologist and Coordinator of Case Management & Group Counseling position will have specialized training in case management (i.e. interfacing with hospital emergency mental health unit and coordinating referrals) and developing and implementing group therapy programming. Major Areas of Responsibility

• Provides a broad range of direct psychological services to Holy Cross students including the following : diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual psychotherapy; group therapy; crisis intervention; consultation; and outreach programming and training.
• Provides consultative psychological services to members of the Holy Cross community including faculty members staff members deans administrators and parents.
• Provides clinical supervision of doctoral level practicum students.
• Coordinates programs for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) as assigned by the Director.
• Participates in the CAPS evening and weekend on-call duties and emergency and crisis response procedures.
• Provides evidence-based culturally responsive individual and group psychotherapy.
• Coordinates and collaborates with outside mental health providers to facilitate continuity of care for our students.
• In addition to having a general expert knowledge of mental health and psychological functioning the ideal candidate for the Staff Clinician / Psychologist position will have specialized training and experience in developing and facilitating therapeutic support groups.
• Engages in targeted outreach efforts and provides psychoeducational programming to campus members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional information :

This is a full time exempt level position. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The pay range for this position is $78000 - $83000 commensurate with experience and qualificaitons. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff including :

10% College contribution to the 403(b) Retirement Plan (1 year wait waiver available)

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - upon hire candidates will need to live within commuting distance
