We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our expanding finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax accounting and compliance, providing tax advisory and planning services, and conducting comprehensive tax research. You will also be handling 1040 individual returns, s corps, partnership returns, and 990 tax returns. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

2. Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax efficiency and compliance.

3. Conducting thorough tax research to stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, and advising on potential impacts on the organization.

4. Preparing and reviewing 1040 individual returns, s corps, partnership returns, and 990 tax returns.

5. Identifying and mitigating tax risks and ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.

6. Collaborating with other departments to provide tax advice and support on business decisions.

7. Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

8. Liaising with tax authorities and external auditors, representing the organization in any tax audits or disputes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Manager position will have :

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification will be highly regarded.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory.

3. In-depth knowledge of tax law and the ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation.

4. Proficiency in handling 1040 individual returns, s corps, partnership returns, and 990 tax returns.

5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed tax research and provide strategic tax advice.

6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing tax team.

7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with tax authorities, external auditors, and internal stakeholders.

8. Proficiency in tax accounting software and MS Office Suite.
