This role reports directly to the APS Project Accounting Director and is responsible for functions including but not limited to customer / job cost accounting and financial analysis.

Signs of Success : A successful Sr. Project Accountant will demonstrate their ability to be both an effective financial partner to divisional VPs / SVPs as well as a successful manager of all things project accounting for their assigned business units. They will be known as a driving force for positive and timely cashflow, accurate project reporting, proactive risk identification and effective contract administration throughout their areas of management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Supervise / Support all assigned project accounting staff members :

Oversee the daily workflow and processes of the department to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.

Proper revenue recognition and intercompany elimination through the timely and accurate preparation of job schedules

Projections review, documentation and modifications

Prequalification's

Ensure staff engages with daily collections requirements and, at minimum, review retention once a month.

Cash Requirements

Provide support to the APS Controller, Project Accounting Director and CFO for all financial audit activities
