About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. As a CNA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities, maintaining their dignity, and ensuring their safety and comfort in a positive, team-oriented environment. This specific job location is in Beulah, North Dakota
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in accordance with CNA training and facility procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights as outlined in the Residents Bill of Rights.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in residents’ conditions, behaviors, or care needs to the charge nurse.
- Record all care activities and behaviors accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system throughout the day.
- Follow all infection control, isolation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Report all incidents, hazards, equipment issues, and safety events using proper documentation procedures.
- Follow proper body mechanics and utilize gait belts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance.
- Support emergency and disaster procedures as outlined in facility policies.
- Adhere to facility policies regarding staff and resident safety, abuse prevention, and incident reporting.
- Review and follow individualized care plans, adjusting as directed by nursing staff.
Other Duties
Handle and store hazardous materials according to established safety protocols.Maintain familiarity with emergency equipment locations and procedures.Professionally use facility communication systems (telephone, intercom, etc.).Perform additional duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, or Director of Nursing.Company Description
