Maintenance Electrician

Electrician is responsible for performing electrical repairs, electrical system maintenance, Electrical troubleshooting, forTRUMPF facilities. Must hold at least an E2 license and obtain an E1 within first year of employment, proficient in readingschematics, and capable of using electronic testing devices.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead other onsite electricians and manage/work with outside vendors on electrical work/repairs. Perform both light and heavy-duty repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical infrastructure and equipment.
• Proficient in use of electrical testing devices.
• Perform troubleshooting on machines and equipment relating to electrical issues.
• Position requires lifting up to 60 lbs. without assistance. Extensive periods of bending, climbing (Ladders, lifts, machines), and standing involved.
• Proficient in bending and running electrical conduit to current code.
• Perform work on high voltage bus heads.
• Understand all electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards related to electrical work. * To be available to be On-Call.
• Maintain and utilize a maintenance work order system to track and create jobs. * Be a highly motivated team player.

Experience

Must hold at least an E2 license and obtain E1 during first year of employment, proficient in reading schematics, and capable of using electronic testing devices. Experience utilizes schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment. Understands multitudes of voltages and phasing to correctly wire or troubleshoot electrical equipment.
