Job Description

• Estimating Leadership | Lead preconstruction efforts and oversee detailed estimates for commercial and institutional projects.
• Bid Strategy | Coordinate subcontractor outreach, scope review, and bid leveling.
• Cost Analysis | Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, pricing, and value-engineering options.
• Client Collaboration | Support business development and proposal presentations with conceptual budgets and pricing feedback.
• Team Mentorship | Train and mentor junior estimators, fostering accuracy and consistency.
• Process Improvement | Implement best practices and refine estimating systems for greater efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

• 6-8+ years of commercial estimating experience with a general contractor.
• Proven expertise across multiple delivery methods-design-build, negotiated, and hard bid.
• Strong proficiency in estimating software (Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, Procore preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
