As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal contacts.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and / or site management.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack, is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
