Virtualization Engineer

A company is looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join their core infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain a large-scale VMware vSphere infrastructure across multiple data center clusters

Manage secondary virtualization platforms, including Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VM, and Red Hat Virtualization

Serve as a senior escalation point for virtualization-related incidents and automate routine tasks using scripting tools

Required Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background investigation for a Public Trust security clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience

7+ years of hands-on experience as a Virtualization Engineer in a large-scale enterprise or data center environment

Expert-level proficiency with the VMware vSphere suite and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Hyper-V

Strong experience with both Oracle VM and Red Hat Virtualization
