As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Team in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, demonstrating agility, reliability, and innovation as you interact with clients and visitors. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings within a tech and media environment, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document and communicate incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
